MADELEINES

The history of madeleines dates back to the 18th century when they were first made in the town of Commercy. Legend has it that they were named after a young maid named Madeleine, who served these cakes to Stanislas Leszczyński, the exiled king of Poland.

The king loved them so much that he introduced them to his court, and from there, they became famous throughout France. Today, madeleines are enjoyed worldwide and symbolize French pâtisserie elegance.

Our Madeleines are loved by both adults and kids alike. They are perfect for enjoying with tea or coffee, as an afternoon snack ("goûter" in French), or as a thoughtful and delicious gift. Their delicate flavor and charming shape make them a versatile treat that can brighten any occasion.
